A peasant rebellion, one of many few prosperous such in heritage, founded the swineherd Ivaylo to be a Tsar. His limited reign was essential in recovering—at least partially—the integrity of the Bulgarian condition. A relatively thriving time period adopted after 1300, but ended in 1371, when factional divisions brought about Bulgaria to separa
